WICA - Whidbey Island Center for the Arts WICA Season Offerings

___________________________________

The WICA Family Series was created to help families make the arts a priority in their lives by providing high-quality cultural and entertainment events at an affordable price, suitable for all ages.

We supplement the arts-in-education curriculum of our school district by providing a free matinee of each of the Family Series events to all sixth-graders of Langley Middle School. For the past eight years, countless twelve-year-olds have seen everything
from giant opera-singing puppets to laser light shows to hip-hop dancing to Japanese origami. And more!

The Family Series celebrates the creative spirit in everyone, young and old alike.

In presenting superior quality, affordable productions for families, we endeavor to create your family’s most memorable performing arts experiences.

"Participation in the arts -
drawing, dancing, and all that -
makes the soul grow.
That's why you engage in it.
That's how you grow a soul."
Kurt Vonnegut

"Nothing you do for children is ever wasted."
Garrison Keillor
