For two days and nights, the picturesque
village of Langley will transform into a world-class
destination for live music!

WI-FEST 2009 will feature TWENTY bands
across TWO nights and FIVE venues.


Whidbey Island Center for the Arts,
will host the premier main stage performances,
while four satellite venues throughout the village
offer something for everyone. From the warm,
friendly, family appeal of Mike’s Place on Main
Street , the gourmet adult dining experience
at Prima Bistro, the contemporary simplicity
of Useless Bay Coffee Company to the late-night
party atmosphere of the Edgecliff Restaurant
and Lounge -- each serves up a wide variety
of musical offerings.

inter-media firm with
expertise in artist
development, marketing,
public relations, and event
production. AlliKat Records,
a division of AlliKat
productions was founded
with the mission to share
information and ideas, to
suggest alternatives
to mainstream music
channels, and to propose
ways musicians can develop
and create art with like-minded
individuals. AlliKat Records
then collaboratively utilizes
unconventional outlets to
disseminate music around
the planet and in one’s own

Island Center for the Arts is
to provide and maintain a
community arts facility, and
to promote, develop and
present diverse programs
of entertainment, education,
and cultural enrichment to
the Whidbey Island
community and its visitors.

WICA opened its doors in
May 1996, culminating a
10-year grassroots effort to
build a community performing
arts center on Whidbey Island .
Serving Whidbey and outlying
areas, the 246-seat theater
hosts a year-round season
of diverse offerings.
Programming consists of the
Theatre Series, Family Series,
Local Artist Series,
and Double Feature Series;
DjangoFest NW, WI-FEST,
and Whidbey Island Theatre
Festival; and diverse
Special Events.
