THE MYTHOS CONCERT.

"Mythos is the description of a story, plot, or tale that evokes emotion or belief from the individuals that hear it. Much of the mythos concepts evolve through developing the environment in which these stories develop -- a feeling or aura one might describe it. The purpose of the ancient myths was to present stories and tales that related directly to the audience, allowing the listener to form their lessons and learning from each experience.

The Mythos Concert creates an environment for our audience: an environment of mysticism, intrigue, and beauty. We have several myths to share through music in addition to reflection of infinite images, such as stars, the heavens, the elements of the earth, human beings, and animals.

Come be swept away by the glorious sounds and stories that will be shared through this concert. Perhaps you will walk away with a greater sense of purpose. Perhaps you will find glory where others have carried on before. Perhaps you will feel the “hero” in you. But first and foremost, we hope you enjoy the marvelous selections prepared by the Chamber Singers that will carry you away into your own mythos."
