FIGGY PUDDING.
Based upon themes from Victorian England, the WICA Chamber Singers will perform a variety of music, including "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence," "Away in a Manger," "Ding Dong Merrily on High," the Hallelujah Chorus, among traditional favorites and introduce the audience to not as familiar Christmas music.
The Chamber Singers have adapted the Cratchit family Christmas dinner from Dickens' A Christmas Carol including all of the familiar characters, including Tiny Tim--and yes, the appearance of the Figgy Pudding! The evening will end with an audience sing along of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Directed by Robert W. Prosch
Adaptation by Shelley Hartle
Staged by Dana Linn
With Special Guest, JoAnn Kane.
