BENEFIT CONCERT
The Rural Characters:
First Barbeque of the Season!
Gordy Adams has been singing around pianos and campfires since childhood, loves all kinds of music and has performed in oratorios, musicals, church choirs, male ensembles, and occasionally in hen houses. He is a longtime member of the Shifty Sailors.
Tom Fisher has been active in music and theatre on the island since 1986. His latest love is the lap steel guitar, though he may or may not bring it along this year.
Randy Hudson is still angry with the fifth grade teacher who asked him to lip synch at the PTA concert though he admits she is only one of many who have made similar suggestions.
Tom Walker would like to thank the guy who stole his drum set in 1969. With the insurance money he bought four new tires and a guitar. Banjo is not his instrument - he fakes it.
